Billie belts out 60s hits

SIXTIES songbird, Billie Davis, will be performing some of her hit records at a Kidderminster venue next weekend.
Joining her at Harriers Social & Supporters Club, on Saturday, July 26, will be former Shadows member, Jet Harris. He will be presenting the Rapiers, who are a tribute to the Cliff Richard’s legendary backing group.
Billie’s career started when she won a talent contest at the age of 16. Her hits include Tell Him, Angel of the Morning and Want You To Be My Baby.
Steve Jones, entertainment secretary at the club, said: “Billie will be joined by her backing singers, the Songbirds, on the night.”
He added that tickets for the event, which starts at 8pm, were selling well and hoped it would be a sell out.
