WYRE Forest District Council’s annual season of free outdoor concerts continues this Sunday.
At Brinton Park, in Sutton Road, Kidderminster, the Central England Concert Band will perform from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
Four-piece brass band, The Brassketeers, will play a range of music, from traditional jazz classics to film and TV theme tunes, at the Green Theatre in the QEII Jubilee Gardens, Bewdley, between 2pm and 4pm.
Big Cats will take to the riverside bandstand, in Riverside Meadows, Stourport at 2.30pm to knock out two hours of pop and soft rock.
The concerts begin a series of live music events at the venues, running until the end of August.
Highlights will include a male voice choir, Irish music and a country and western festival.
No formal seating is provided at the events, with visitors invited to take a deckchair or picnic rug.
Councillor Marcus Hart, Wyre Forest District Council’s cabinet member for leisure services, said: “The concerts are becoming more and more popular.”
