SAFETY pins and spiky hair will be all the rage in Stourport tonight as “the spirit of ‘77” returns.

Punk’d will perform classic tracks by the likes of The Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Damned, The Ramones, Sham 69 and The Buzzcocks, as well as modern bands, such as Green Day.

Members have all served their time in bands since 1977. Bass player, Dave Bass and guitarist, Kev Vegas, were founding members of original Birmingham punk band, The Sussed.

Since their formation in 2005, Punk’d since established themselves on the Midlands’ live scene. In the past year, they have worked with many top names, including The Damned, The Undertones, UK Subs and Hugh Cornwell, formerly of The Stranglers.

The gig at Stourport Boat Club starts at 9pm and admission is free.

More details about the band can be found at www.punkd.co.nr
