CLASSIC hits will be sung by soundalikes in Bewdley tonight.

The Upfront Entertainments Showcase at the Gainsborough House Hotel will feature tributes to acts ranging from the 60s to the 90s.

The Dreamettes will perform Motown and Soul covers, while Beatles impersonators, 3am will knock out a set of Lennon and McCartney classics.

There will also be tributes to Shirley Bassey, the late Gene Pitney and Madonna.

Money raised from the event will benefit Drumart House, in Cookley, which provides community support for the elderly.

For details, contact Helen Hughes on 07986 590470.

A COVERS band will aim to prove they are no pussy cats tonight.

Big Cats take to the stage at Stourport Boat Club, fronted by female singer Kat Howell.

Their repertoire includes songs by Belinda Carlisle, The Corrs, Ocean Colour Scene, The Stereophonics and The Pretenders.

The gig begins at 9pm and admission is free. For more information, visit www.myspace.com/ bigcats4
