I AM writing in response to the article about Mr Russello.
As a parent of two children (one being disabled and being a blue badge holder), I agree that it is really annoying when people misuse the parent and toddler spaces.
However, two wrongs don't make a right and by parking in a disabled space I think he should be fined.
He is fortunate to have healthy children who can walk to the shop if there aren't any parent and toddler spaces available.
However, by taking up a disabled space he is selfishly taking away a space for a disabled person who needs it.
Believe me nobody chooses to have a disability and those spaces are provided to make life a little easier.
By taking up the disabled space Mr Russello was acting in the same way as those taking up the parent and toddler space without consideration.
Perhaps those who misuse the parent and toddler spaces should also be fined.
