Motorcyclist remains in critical condition

A MOTORCYCLIST who sustained serious head and chest injuries in a road traffic collision on Sunday remains in a stable but critical condition.

The 29-year-old Stourport man was airlifted to Selly Oak Hospital in Birmingham. He is not being identified.

The collision happened in Hartlebury Road, Stourport, at 6.40pm.

It involved a blue Vauxhall Corsa driven by a 21-year-old Halesowen man and a yellow Suzuki motorcycle ridden by the Stourport man.

The car driver was arrested and has been released on police bail pending further inquiries on suspicion of driving with excess alcohol.
