Shields, dragons and board games all featured as a Kidderminster nursery marked St George's Day.
Celebrations at Little Trinity Nursery centred around the patron saint of England, who has been honoured annually on April 23 since 1222.
The children showed off their artistic creativity by painting dragons and English flags on shields and re-enacting scenes from a short film about St George.

The nursery's manager Gaynor Carter said: "The children showed a lot of creativity by painting dragon faces and English flags on their shields and acting out some of the scenes from the short film we watched that explained who St George was.
"It was very enjoyable and wonderful to participate in the national celebrations of St George."
St George is revered by Christian communities across the planet in places of which he is patron saint, including Bulgaria, Ethiopia, Greece, Georgia, Portugal, Romania, Syria, Lebanon, Catalonia, Alcoi, Aragon and Rio de Janeiro.
