FRIENDSHIP CLUB – Members of Astley Chat Club attended the group’s recent meeting.

Charlie Green and his dad Roger were due to sing, but as Charlie did so well in the Britain’s Got Talent competition, he is now in the Philippines performing. He had agreed to an interview so a film of this and his performance was shown. Charlie hopes to sing for the group at a later date.

Afterwards Pat Gale and Mary Wehner entertained members with anecdotes and readings. This was followed by afternoon tea supplied by members.

The club meet fortnightly on a Monday afternoon, leaders are Pauline and Graham Baldwin on 01299 871004.
