GARDENERS CLUB – Celia Davis was the speaker at the May meeting. Celia is a well-known beekeeper but also has a comprehensive knowledge of all garden insects. Her talk and slideshow taught members how to identify many of the bugs and insects found in gardens.
Members will not be meeting at Chaddesley Village Hall in June as they will be visiting two private gardens.
The next meeting at the hall will be on July 9 and will be entitled The Living Churchyard. Wade Muggleton of the Countryside Commission will talk about his work in environmental conservation. Visitors are welcome. Call Jean Smith on 01527 861437 for information.
