WI – President Jeanne Round reported that the evening visit to link institute Wychbury had been successful. The meeting was then handed over to Mrs Pam Watson and Yolanda Briggs for the members’ evening.

Mr Ray Sturdy gave a talk and slide show titled ‘a drop of the hard stuff’ showing his 314 mile Mencap sponsored bike ride around Ireland.

The competition for a rose was won by Pam Watson. This month’s flowers, arranged by Gwen Palmer, will be taken to Marian Slade-Boulter.

At the next meeting on July 14, there will be talk on the history of the National Trust. The competition is for a photo of a Trust property.
