GARDENING CLUB – The June meeting was held in the gardens of two members.
Living churchyard was the theme of the July meeting. Worcestershire County Council countryside officer, Wade Muggleton, talked about a programme for preserving wildlife and natural flora in churchyards, which are usually quiet and undisturbed and therefore excellent locations for preservation.
The next meeting will be on Wednesday, August 13, when Mr Cotteril of Worcester Aquatic Centre will be talking about water gardening. Meetings are held in Chaddesley Corbett village hall at 7.30pm and guests are welcome. For more information, call Jean Smith 01527 861437.
