GARDENING CLUB – At the July meeting speaker Dr Murray Mylechrist, gave a talk on ‘sugar ‘n’ spice, all things nice, plants used by people,’ a talk and slide show on how plants have different values in different parts of the world.
On August 27, Speaker Cy Jones, will give a talk on Ludlow’s secret gardens.
On September 24, David Griffiths, will give a talk entitled ‘vegetables’. It will also be the club’s autumn show.
The summer garden show is on August 16 at Clows Top Victory Hall at 2pm. Enquiries to Marion Wilson on 01299 270475, all proceeds will go to the Air Ambulance. To run your own stall at the show, contact Marion.
