SWIMMING: Wyre Forest kept their place in Division One of the Nuneaton League after some strong performances on Saturday.

The team recorded 24 personal best times, which was enough for them to keep their spot in Division One and allow them to build on it for next season.

Six members of Wyre Forest also took part in the Gloucester open meet and set new personal best times.

Daniel Eddies, Steven Eddies, Sophie Haycock-Jones, Lauren Offley, Elizabeth Watson and Jack Rowley all set new standards at the Gloucester GL1 pool.

Nuneaton League results: U10s girls medley relay - Jess Lewis, Beth Hinton, Jess Abbott, Sophie Hall, 3rd; Boys U10s medley relay — AJ Renton, Jacob Jackson, Jack Rowley, Calum Tinsdale, 2nd; Megan Tinsdale, 2nd, two lengths backstroke, 2nd two lengths freestyle; Emily Goodman, 2nd U12s two lengths breaststroke; Boys U10s freestyle relay — J Jackson, Richard Allen, J Rowley, C Tinsdale, 2nd; Girls U10s two lengths.
