A SANWHICH shop in Droitwich has been handed a new food hygiene rating.
Subway, based on Colman Road in Droitwich, underwent a food hygiene inspection by the Food Standards Agency on April 10.
The inspection covered a wide range of areas that included ratings for hygienic food handling, cleanliness and condition of facilities and building, and management of food safety.
The retailer was awarded a very good rating for its hygienic food handling, a good rating for cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and another very good rating for management of food safety.
All of these combined meant that it scored an overall food hygiene rating of five stars - the highest mark that any establishment can receive.
